Guidelines for the Use of India Islamic Cultural Centre’s Facilities
The India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) is committed to upholding the highest standards of cultural integrity, dignity, and respect. In line with these values, all individuals and organizations utilizing the Centre’s facilities including the Auditorium, Conference Halls, Main Lawn, Amphitheatre, Banquet Hall, and other event spaces for conferences, meetings, social gatherings, and functions must adhere to the following guidelines. These guidelines are established to ensure that every event hosted at the Centre reflects its commitment to excellence, cultural ethos, and core principles.
- Prohibition of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Products: The consumption of alcoholic beverages, pan masala, gutkha, and cigarette smoking is strictly forbidden on the premises of the IICC. This prohibition applies to all guests, participants, and staff involved in the event
- Cultural Sensitivities and Commitment to Decency: Programs featuring objectionable content or promoting indecency are strictly prohibited. Events must align with the cultural ethos of the India Islamic Cultural Centre, upholding values and dignity in all aspects, from decorations to performances, fostering respect and understanding.
- Prohibition of Political Events: Political functions and events are strictly prohibited within the premises of the IICC. This prohibition encompasses all forms of political activity, discourse, and gatherings. Furthermore, the display of political banners, promotional materials, or any content associated with political parties is not allowed.
- Prohibition on the Screening of Uncertified or Uncensored Films and Documentaries.
- Prohibition on Seminars, Dialogues, Debates, or Discussions of a Sensitive Nature.
- Sound System and DJ Restrictions: The use of loud sound systems, DJs, or any form of amplified music is strictly prohibited within the IICC premises.
- Prohibition of Firearms and Weapons: The entry of firearms or any other weapons into the premises of the IICC is strictly prohibited.
- Event Timing: All functions must end by 12:00 AM. After this time, the lights will be turned off, and all activities must cease.
- Catering Services: Outside catering is strictly prohibited. The IICC exclusively provides catering services, either in-house or through its impanelled vendors, subject to additional payment.
- Tent and Decoration Services: Outside tent and decoration services are strictly prohibited. The IICC exclusively offers these services through its impanelled vendors, subject to additional charges.
- Designated Area Usage: All event and function arrangements must be confined to designated areas only. The individual or group making the booking is not permitted to use any undesignated areas of the Centre for any kind of activity. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the Centre reserving the right to forfeit the deposit, either in part or in full.
- Parking Regulations: Vehicle parking is strictly prohibited within the premises of the IICC.
- No eatables are allowed inside the auditorium, conference hall, any other restricted areas of IICC.
- Payment and Booking Confirmation: Confirmations for bookings will be processed only upon receipt of full payment in advance.
- Cancellation Policy: All cancellation requests must be communicated in writing to the IICC’s booking office to ensure clarity and proper record-keeping.
- Retention Charges: In the event of a cancellation, the following retention charges will apply:
- More than 45 days prior to the event: A refund will be issued, minus 15% of the total booking amount, with any applicable taxes deducted.
- 45 to 30 days prior to the event: 20% of the total booking amount will be retained, with any applicable taxes deducted.
- 30 to 15 days prior to the event: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained, with any applicable taxes deducted
- 15 to 7 days prior to the event: 50% of the total booking amount will be retained, with any applicable taxes deducted.
- Less than 7 days prior to the event: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained, with any applicable taxes deducted.
- Force Majeure: In cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters or government restrictions), the IICC may, at its discretion, waive retention charges, provided that proper documentation is submitted.
- Refund Process: Any applicable refunds will be processed within a specified timeframe after the cancellation request has been received. All cancellations must be communicated in writing to the IICC’s booking office to ensure clarity and proper record-keeping.

- The IICC reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, with a full refund of the advance payment in such instances.
- Compliance and Approvals: Event organizers must obtain all necessary legal approvals and ensure full compliance before hosting any event. It is strongly recommended that users ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and address any potential risks and liabilities. The IICC will not be held responsible for any risks or liabilities arising from non-compliance.
- Compliance and Responsibility: The organizers must ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations during their events and all users are responsible for the conduct of their guests and must take necessary precautions to prevent accidents or damages. The individual or group making the booking assumes full responsibility for ensuring strict adherence to these guidelines. Non- compliance may result in the immediate cancellation of the event, forfeiture of any deposits paid, imposition of penalties, and potential denial of future booking requests.
